How It Works

Vita Medical Solutions is proud to facilitate access to cutting-edge medical solutions and laboratory testing for physicians, clinics and patients. In response to the current outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Vita Medical Solutions is working to connect at-risk patients to necessary testing to help with the identification, treatment and containment of the disease.

Patients that qualify through our platform will be contacted by a physician who will complete a telemedicine consult. If the physician believes COVID-19, Respiratory, or any other related viral testing is necessary it will be ordered and you will receive a sample collection kit in the mail to complete and return.

Physicians are available between
7:00 AM and 8:00 PM CT .
Patient consult requests will be handled in the order received.

What is COVID-19

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease that was identified in late 2019 and was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020. This virus can cause a multitude of health issues including upper respiratory symptoms such as cough or runny nose or more serious illness.

What are common symptoms of COVID-19?

Fever, cough and shortness of breath are primary symptoms. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.

How can I protect myself?

Follow guidelines from the CDC for up-to-date recommendations on the best way to protect yourself. Some recommendations include maintaining at least 6 ft. distance between others, staying home when possible, washing hands frequently, and wearing a face mask.

What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms?

If you are sick, contact a healthcare provider for recommendations on next steps, which may include self-quarantine and/or testing. If you meet eligibility criteria, utilize Vita Medical Solutions platform to connect to a treating physician to virtually assess your condition. After testing, if you results are positive, you should report your results to the CDC.
